RSVP

If you are RSVP-ing yes, please Zelle, Venmo or Paypal $200 to hold your spot in the house to amanda.deldotto@gmail.com by October 18th. Once we have the final head count, we will let everyone know the remaining balance per girl! This will help us ensure we have at least 12 ladies to keep costs down and then we will invite others if needed. This will also allow us to order everyone’s bathing suits! See House Cost below for more details.

House Cost

The house is for 3 nights (check in Friday & check out Monday) at about $625 a night plus fees. The total is approximately $2,208.42. *** The Bride received a $500 credit from AirBnb for them royally messing up on her recent bridal party proposal weekend which she has decided to donate toward the cost of the shore house. Her hopes are that it will help lessen the cost of the trip per girl and make things a little less expensive for us.*** The total cost per girl for the house will depend on how many ladies we have attending. That being said, the lowest it could possibly be is $150 per person for the house. More realistically it will cost $210 per person for the weekend but as soon as we have a final head count we will let you know what the actual total is and address any remaining balance and due date!

Flights

When we found the house is November of 2018 we looked up flights for last Memorial Day weekend to New Jersey. They flights were about $200 round trip. Hopper says it will be around $178 for Memorial Day weekend 2021! We will be looking for the cheapest flights from Chicago to Newark as soon as they start showing available flights for that weekend. We will do our best to keep everyone posted as we continue to search for the best prices so look out for emails or texts! We do suggest following the trip on Hopper yourself as we may not be able to update you with every price change. We know booking flights far ahead can be hard for people but Amanda has graciously offered to book your flight when they become available and be paid back if you need the assistance! Just let her or I know what you need and we can help facilitate!

The Shore is in between two airports, Newark and Philadelphia. Neither are close to the shore but Newark is closer and when I looked last year the flights were cheaper. We have no preference on this one so fly into whichever is easier for you! We just want you to know you have options! Below are the travel times to the house from both airports! It is your responsibility to get yourself from the airport to the house. I am sure there will be several people arriving at or around the same time so you may be able to share an Uber or reserve a car service and share the cost. REMEMBER check in is at 3pm on Friday. If we can get everyone in earlier we will let you know! Check out is 11am on Monday. Please plan your flights and additional travel to/from the house accordingly or be prepared to entertain yourself and your luggage until check in.

Driving

There will be a group of people driving from Chicago to New Jersey. (Check for updates)

The House

We looked into hotels and houses. The hotels (more like motels) looked like you’d get bed bugs just looking at the rooms and with the amount of rooms we would need and lack of amenities available we decided a house is more suitable for us! The house allows everyone to gather together and we can have food and make meals if we want! Unfortunately, most houses at the shore rent for a 7 night minimum, but we only need 3 nights! Therefore, our options were limited. We found a beautiful house in Seaside Height, NJ. (Right by where Snooki and The Situation stayed) Our house is right by the blue dot on the map.

Check in is at 3pm on Friday. If we can get everyone in earlier we will let you know! Check out is 11am on Monday. The house is in Seaside Heights and is located just a half block from the Boardwalk and beach! It’s not far from The Jersey Shore House and The Shore Store. Sadly Club Karma closed but we are surround by other great bars and who knows, by then there could be a new club in its place! The house sleeps 14 on real beds and 16 if we use the pull out couch! The house has 3 large bathrooms, plenty of mirrors and a private outdoor shower

Bed linens/Towels

The house doesn’t come with  bed linens or bath/beach towels. Apparently this is normal at the Jersey Shore. With that being said people can bring their own or they have delivery companies that will drop off and pick up linens for a cost. We have the sheets covered and will be bringing those! Beach and bath towels are a different story. There are two options: bring your own in your suitcase or rent! If you want to bring your own beach but rent bath totally fine. Each girl will pay for what they individually request. (They recommend two bath towels per person.) We will get hand towels for all bathrooms and split that cost among all the girls. Bath towels are $4 each, hand towels are $2 each and beach towels are $5 each. The house does have laundry so we could totally wash towels as well. You can decide if you want to bring your own or rent closer to the actual event, but keep this in mind please!

Gifts

Our bride is paying for her share of the house and her flight, so lets get her something sexy to make her feel special and loved this weekend! (The bride is a size x-small or small for lingerie and underwear and a 32a in bras.)

Bathing suits

We will be ordering one piece bathing suits from http://www.ravesuits.com. The suits will be black with leopard writing. They are considered to be “custom” so they will be $59.99 each. We are working with the company to get a discount and shipping is free. Amanda has a s/m (fits 0-4) and a m/l (fits 6-10) for people to try on! At this point those are the only sizes they make. If these sizes do not work for you please email us and let us know so we can come up with an alternative option. They suits are a little pricey, but they are super good quality and fit really well. The company is in partnership with Spanx, so they hug and lift in all the right spots! You will picking what you want your suit to say so you can wear it over and over!! The only restriction is none of that “bride tribe” or “bridesmaid” stuff. Get creative! As long as you have paid your $200 deposit and send us the info for your suit we will order yours! Leopard printing is a limited time custom option on the swim suits so they need to be ordered sooner rather than later! Once we have the final price we will let you know, but it should be less than $60.

The MOB and the MOG are going to be getting super cute dresses with a saying on them instead of the swimsuits to wear for the photo shoot on Saturday. The cost of these are approximately $30-$40 including shipping. We will reach out to you two or update this site with a link for the dress the Bride chooses so you can figure out size, etc. 

Food/Snacks/Alcohol

We will be doing a food/snack order to be delivered to the house on Friday when we arrive. If you went to Scottsdale it will be the same process. Everyone will have access to the account, (it’s Safeway which is like Jewel at home) and be responsible for ordering and paying for their own food and beverages for the weekend. We will get bottled water, solo cups and condiments for the house. In Scottsdale we got things like stuff to make sandwiches, snacks and alcohol. (Delivery is FREE) We will have pizza Friday night and dinner Sunday, but those are the only planned meals. Of course if you wanna order take out/delivery at any point or get food when we are out you’re more than welcome to do so! This is just to make things easier and more cost effective so no one has to go out to buy groceries or eat out every meal. Amanda will place the order and will tally what’s owed individually after we get there. Amanda will also be making Jell-O shots.

Pizza Friday

We will be ordering from a local pizza place. Everyone who wants to order will give input on what they want and it will be split among the people eating. We will try to find a place that has salad and other options also if people want something different. If you aren’t a pizza person or don’t see something you like on the menu you can eat whatever you ordered grocery wise or order in from elsewhere seperatly! We will start an email/message chain ahead of time with the restaurant’s info so people have time to review it and decide what they might want for dinner prior to a long day of traveling!

Sunday Dinner

Just like on the TV show we will be having Family Sunday Dinner. The cost of the dinner will be the treat of Kristy and Amanda to thank everyone for coming to celebrate our Bride! We will be catering in family style Italian dinner from a local Italian restaurant. We will let you know what we are thinking of ordering when it gets closer to get input from everyone. Payments

Amanda will be handling all payments for the house, bathing suits and the food/alcohol order. She is also willing to cover your flight in order to get everyone the best price possible if you need. Please contact her directly via text about anything to do with payments (773) 315-8468.

Outfits

Saturday everyone needs a pair of blue jean shorts and black flip flops for the beach photo shoot. The girls will be wearing black dresses for going out Saturday night. Sorry we’re not sorry! It’s a bachelorette party and this is one of the few things the Bride has requested.

Other then that feel free you wear what you want!

Beach Passes

The house comes with 8 beach passes so depending on how many people we have going we will need to purchase more for Saturday. The daily passes are $8. Amanda will pay for any additional passes needed upfront and then will split the cost among the total number of girls to be fair.

Cabs/Extras

Cabs/Ubers, beach passes, bar/club covers or anything that we do as a group that costs something additional will be split among those people participating. Amanda will pay upfront and then split the amount amongst the participants. Amanda will include these additional costs in the food/alcohol total which will be provided to you on the last day of the trip and due by midnight that same evening.
